26 Treasures of Childhood (Booklet)

The UK writers’ collective, 26, has authored its latest 26 Treasures writing project at the V&A Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green, London. As part of a new exhibition entitled Modern British Childhood, members of 26 were invited to respond to specific exhibition objects in the form of a ‘sestude’ – 62 words (26 in reverse).  These responses are displayed alongside the Museum’s objects, giving visitors further insight into the history of childhood from 1948 to the present day. David Carroll & Co captured the words and images together in a beautiful book with illustrations by Natalie Bullard.
