- - Product Description: This A2 poster features a reproduction of a poster by Ashley Havinden (1903 - 73) advertising the 1946 exhibition 'Britain Can Make It' held at the V&A.
    
    Organised by The Council of Industrial Design, the exhibition showcased design in all the main ranges of consumer goods from clothing and household furnishings to office equipment and civil transport. It aimed to celebrate the achievements of modern British companies and to be 'British industry's first great post-war gesture to the British people and the world'.
