V&A Fabric - Peacock (Tan)

A collection of beautiful printed pre-cut cotton fabric inspired by the V&A's collections, created by our partner Westminster Fibers.

This pattern was adapted from a furnishing textile in the Art Nouveau style by F. Steiner & Co., 1922

Frederick Steiner, a chemist, came to Britain in the early 19th century and founded a high quality printing company in Lancashire. F.Steiner &Co. used leading designers and created important Art Nouveau fabrics featuring stylized flora and fauna.

Ideal for dressmaking, patchwork and quilting as well as craft projects such as cushion covers and tablecloths.

Each fat quarter measures approximately 50 x 57 cm and 1 metre fabric measures approximately 100 x 114 cm wide.

100% Cotton. 40C wash, or dry clean, do not tumble dry.
