V&A Fabric - Seaweed

A collection of exclusive printed pre-cut cotton fabric inspired by the V&A's collections.

'Seaweed'  is from a patchwork coverlet that commemorates the Duke of Wellington's victory at the Battle of Vittoria. Made by Elizabeth Chapman in England, 1829, the patchwork shows a great variety of block-printed cottons dating from the first quarter of the nineteenth century.

Ideal for dressmaking, patchwork and quilting as well as craft projects such as cushion covers and tablecloths.
