Great Exhibition Catalogue eReader Cover - Kindle Paperwhite

Item No.
122105
      • Product Description:

Your Kindle cover was made by hand at The Manor Bindery, a traditional book binding company in the New Forest, England. The moulded interior is designed specifically for your Standard Kindle. It is a bit of a tight fit but was designed to best secure and protect your device.

The design of this eReader cover is based on the Official catalogue of the Great Exhibition in 1851, the marbled endpapers date from the 1870s with a bookplate from the same period.

The Great Exhibition in 1851 was the first international exhibition of manufactured products. It was organised by Henry Cole and Prince Albert, and held in a purpose-built Crystal Palace in Hyde Park. Many of the objects in the exhibition were used as the first collection for the South Kensington Museum which opened in 1857 and later became the Victoria and Albert Museum.

        Wipe clean with damp cloth.

        Made in England.
