Established in 2007, A Two Pipe Problem Letterpress (AKA Problem Press) is run by Stephen Kenny from his workshop in Walthamstow, East London. Everything is designed and printed directly on one of 3 presses using a mixture of wood and metal type. Wood type takes on a life of its own, each surface mark and imperfection offers a unique print. The more use a font gets - the better it prints. The history of letterpress is incredibly rich, much of the equipment is over 100 years old - the oldest wood type dates back to 1836. All the fonts at the press are used for print. The collection of wood and metal type is growing all the time and ranges in size from 8pts to 10.5 inches.
        Made in England.
