Lion and Unicorn Cufflinks by Bill Skinner||EVAEX

The lion and the unicorn in this design have come from the official coat of arms of the British monarch, which was drawn up in 1603.

Fashion jeweller Bill Skinner's jewellery combines exquisite detailing and design with a very British sense of wit. During his career he has worked with companies such as Van Cleef and Arpels, Garrards and Asprey. Since the 1980's he has worked in costume jewellery creating pieces for clients such as Butler and Wilson, Vivienne Westwood and Paul Smith.

For this exclusive collaboration, Bill has taken inspiration from iconic Tudor and Stuart objects and imagery from the V&A's collections; incorporating heraldry, stained glass, portrait miniature, love jewellery and textile references in these fabulously fashionable pieces. Each piece has a story to tell.
