        This print was designed and produced exclusively for the V&A by Hi-Artz Press. It features hand carved lino blocks and antique two colour wooden type. Northbound Swallows flying past Portland Bill lighthouse, Dorset, which is the first land many of these visitors reach after their journey across the Channel.

        Helen Ingham MA(CSM) trained as a fine artist, printer and graphic designer.  She studied at London's Central St Martins College of Art & Design and interned at Hatch Showprint, the famous letterpress print shop in Nashville, US.  She currently works as a letterpress printer and illustrator in her Bedfordshire workshop, combining distinctive and evocative linocuts with period type, some of which is over 100 years old.  Her work, which is exhibited and sold worldwide, is inspired by road trips around the UK on her classic Triumph motorbike.
