Stephen has a beautiful and growing collection of type, for this print he used the following:

Something Old - rustic font from the 1850s, unknown foundry.

Something New - Thorne Shaded font from Thorne type foundry,1860s.

Something borrowed - 'inline italic' from Stephenson Blake, 1860s.

'Something blue' is the only American font on the print - it's from Bruce Type foundry, New York, 1880s. Font name unknown.

The final font is 'Palace Script' from Stephenson Blake, 1880s.

The boarder is from Starr Type - this is a new casting from an 1880s design.
