- - Product Description: This collection of jewelery in 18ct gold plate, decorated with enamel, Swarovski crystals and faux pearls has been inspired by a star object in the V&As jewellery collection.
    
    Bequeathed to the museum by Lady Alma-Tadema in 1909 the V&A's sapphire pendant necklace was transformed from an earlier piece dating from about 1660.
    
    Lady Alma-Tadema included a version of the necklace in her painting, Queen Katherine of France (1888).
